My little brother Garrett John joined our family on May 7, 2012. He weighed 8lbs 11.5oz and was 20.5in long. He stole a little of my spotlight for a couple days, but don't you worry I keep Mom and Dad pretty busy too. I wuv my little brother to pieces. I like to poke him in the eyes, bang loudly on my toys while he is sleeping, pour water on him in his bassinett and give him lots of kisses too. I plan on teaching him "good sings" (things) and "bad sings".
We all have been very busy lately. Soon after Garrett was born Mom's cousin Keith and Gabes were married (Garrett's first big family outing) 5-19-12. Garrett slept through the loud DJ and everything, Mom said. We were up north for Memorial weekend which was busy with grad parties for Kyle and Trent (Dad's cousins). I was able to play a ton with Carly and loved every minute of it.
Mommy, Daddy and Grandpa John grew another year older and celebrating their birthdays was pretty low key this year. We did go to the Como Zoo for fathers day with Gma, Gpa, Uncle Josh, Trina and Za'Nya. We had a picnic and everything!
We had a great time at the old neighbor's Donna and Gary's cabin on Mille Lacs Lake. Dad caught his first Small Mouth Bass, and I caught a nice perch off of thier doc. We can't wait to be invited back, it was so much fun!
Jenny came down and stayed at our house for the week of July 4th (mom was off of work). She and Mom did all kinds of fun stuff while she was here, Pedicures, Valleyfair, Mall of America and horseback riding. Plus she played with me when I got home from daycare.
Garrett was baptized at St. Michael Catholic Church on July 8th. Matt and Jenny are his Godparents. Everyone came over for dinner and we all had a great time visiting and playing.
Currently we are working on going on the big boy potty, sharing and trying really hard to listen a little better. It is quite a challenge sometimes. But we will work through it with lots of time outs and explaining. I love helping Gpa John in the garden, playing outside and playing with my farm and trucks inside with my Daddy.
