It's Been SO Long!

This is me and my dad last week.  I am such a daddy's boy....

This past week and a half has been really busy.  Last week dad worked up north for my great uncle Wayne, helping remodel their new to them house.  The first day dad was gone I started to get a fever at daycare 99.8.  Then when mom got home from work, she took my temp and it was 100.7! My first official fever!  Mom missed work on Tues to take care of me.  I was pretty crabby and we both took a lot of naps.  Ended up just being my nasty cold back again.  I have a bad cough again and a runny nose.  Gotta love daycare.

The exciting news this week is that I have 2 teeth poken thru!!!  That could have been part of the fever last week, but I sure do have a bad cold again.  I have been growing like a weed.  My 6-9 mo clothes are starting to get tight on my toes again.  Mom is anxious to go to my 6mo check up in a couple weeks to see how big I am. 

Boy oh boy do I look like my dad!!

Dad is going fishing with Gpa John and Uncle Josh to North Dakota, Devils Lake.  Dad said he is going to catch me some big walleye's.  I hope he has lots of fun!!  He will be gone from Wed to Sun. Auntie Tracy is coming down to babysit me while mom goes to work on Friday.

My Room is Finally Done!

Mom and dad finally finished decorating my room!  I really like it.  This past week or so has been pretty crazy busy at our house.  Mom has been working a lot as usual, but dad got some bad news at work and he is pretty much laid off after this week.  boo.  He has been working hard on trying to find a new job, hoping he doesn't have to go back to the job he absolutly HATES!  He doesn't mind the work, just doesn't like the company.  Anywho, mom and dad are a little worried, but hopefully everything will be okay.  I will still be going to daycare full time for another week or so, so that dad can look for jobs, then Tami said she would be okay w/ me coming part time cuz she likes us and wants to keep us.  And we want to keep her for as long as we can. 

Mom had 2 days of seminar for the dental office yesterday and today on Sleep Apnea and oral appliances instead of the patients having to use a CPAP machine.  Pretty interesting stuff, apparently things like high blood pressure, post medipausal hormone changes and other things could mean you have an undiagnosed sleep disorder.  It was kind of cool learning from a world renound dentist, Dr. Edward Spiegel DDS.  He is a funny old man who has done a little of everything and knows A LOT about sleep dentistry.  He has 2 practices one in PA and one in AZ that he works at for 3 days a month and makes 60k/day!!!  I am excited to learn more and see what changes come about with our dental office. 

Not too much else going on the rest of the week.
